Drinking and Driving are a Fatal Mixture

Law, politics, and life are sometimes a lethal mixture when taken all at once.  According to a report by the Morris News Service, drunk driving citations in Georgia have jumped 37% over the last four years (read: recession).

The reasons for this are tri-fold.  Due to the depressed feelings naturally caused by an economic slump, more and more individuals are turning to alcohol to relieve their stress.  This, coupled by the fact that state troopers are parking their cars more to save on gas, means more people are getting caught.

Now, obviously, you can't just go in and sue the government for a having a tight state budget.  Those patrolmen saving gas aren't a bad thing in itself.  However, what you can do is be careful not to drink and drive.

Accidents happen for a multitude of reasons. Every year, over 10,000 people die in drunk driving accidents.  While many of us have no choice but to drive to get to where we're going, we do all have a choice as to whether or not we consume alcohol.

Save a life, save a ticket, save some money-whatever reason you choose, don't drink and drive.  If you have been injured in a drunk driving accident, contact us.
