Happy New Year, Atlanta!

In my opinion, there's no better place to celebrate New Year's Eve than right here in Atlanta. Our town offers the best of everything, and New Year's Eve is certainly no exception.

The Peach Drop is Atlanta's answer to the New Year's Eve Celebration. Dubbed the largest New Year's celebration in the Southeast, the Peach Drop, held each year in Underground Atlanta, features an entire day of food, drinks, music, entertainment and fun, all day long Dec. 31. There's something for everyone in the family and it's definitely a place for people watching and seeing revelers of all ages.

If, like me, you're a fan of classic rock, you'll love the headliners at this year's Peach Drop: Kansas. Remember Dust in the Wind, and Carry on My Wayward Son? Now that's classic music!

If you're planning to head to Underground Atlanta, consider using public transportation or designate a driver. If you are driving, don't drink and drive. The laws in Georgia are stiff, and DUIs are costly. If you have to be out on the road, watch for other drivers, and try to be off the roads well before midnight.
