Sunday Night Atlanta Car Accident Leaves One Dead, Others Injured

Charges are anticipated to be filed against Shamaye Williams of Atlanta, who was driving in rain and crossed over the center line on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at Hightower just before Midnight Sunday night, slamming into another car and killing her passenger.

Tonika Clark, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene. Williams sustained serious injuries and was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. The second vehicle, was driven by Keevin Huston, and his condition was not immediately known or released by authorities.

Alcohol is considered to have been a factor in the crash, and charges are anticipated to be filed against Williams.
